Our unique program for clergy of all denominations

Bachelors Degree to Master's Degree to Doctoral Degree
or pursue only bachelor's.

Bachelor's required for Holy Orders. However, men already educated can request a tailor-made supplemental program to meet their own particular needs.

A "ladderized" curriculum in theology for formation in the Sacred Priesthood and for others pursuing the study of theology. A bachelor's degree is required for Holy Orders.

Program Concept: ISP Curriculum in Theology speaks of the three basic dimensions of the ordained ministry in the Church. These are the following, namely: Intellectual, Spiritual, and Pastoral; that is, the ISP Module. This concept is Scripturally rooted in 1 Peter 1: 13 – 16, which says,

Therefore, prepare your minds [Intellectual] for actions, keep sober in spirit [Spiritual], fix your hope completely on the grace of God to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lust which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior [Pastoral] because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy”.

This concept is further enhanced by II Timothy 3: 16 – 17, that says,

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Hence, in this module, the intellectual formation is Scripture-based, spiritual formation is Scripture-inspired, and the pastoral commitment and involvement in the life and ministry of the Church is Scripture-driven. Furthermore, this understanding is rooted in John 1:1, which says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. When we speak of “Theology”, we speak of “Theos” meaning “God” and “Logos” meaning “Word”. John 1:1 is the biblical foundation of any theological school of thought in the fullest sense of the word. Apart from it, it is not theology. It may be dubbed as “theodicy” which is conceptually different from “theology”. The former refers to “what we say about” God and to what He says; the latter refers to what God in and through “His Word says to us”.

Program Components: The components of this curriculum are the following, namely:

Intellectual:        Scripture-based Introduction to Theology, Dogmatic Theology, Systematic Theology,

                                              and Church Ministry

Spiritual:           Scripture-inspired Spiritual Enrichment and Empowerment inspired by the Writings of the Church Fathers and the Saints, Papal Encyclicals, Apostolic Exhortation and Declaration, Social Teachings of the Catholic Church and other contemporary Church documents.

Pastoral:          Scripture-driven commitment and involvement in the life and ministry of the Church which basically addresses the SPECIES, that is, the Social, Political, Economic, Cultural, Industrial, Environmental and Spiritual dimensions in the lives of people whom the ordained ministers would minister to as they live out their ministerial priesthood.
